About Amy
Amy Thompson has called Springdale home since 2010. She’s a proud wife, mom of two Princeton graduates, and owner of Amy’s Hair Boutique, a small business located right here in Springdale. Her journey—from building a business to volunteering across schools, swim teams, and her church—has always been centered on helping others thrive.
Amy earned her Associate Degree in Business Management (summa cum laude) while continuing to serve her community. She’s mentored local cosmetology students, coordinated events at Dayspring Church, and supported countless local families.
Amy isn’t a career politician—she’s one of us, and she’s ready to bring your voice to City Hall.
4 Pillars to Success

Bring a Fresh Perspective:
From Heritage Hill to Beacon Hills, Amy believes in strengthening ties across all of Springdale—through community events, outreach, and inclusive planning. She brings the viewpoint of a mother, business owner, and active member of the community.

Attract New Businesses:
Everyone deserves to live in a well-maintained, safe, and vibrant community. Springdale’s empty storefronts are missed opportunities. Amy will work to attract new businesses, simplify startup processes, and boost our local economy.

Empowering Voters:
Springdale should be a city that uplifts everyone. Amy supports voter registration initiatives and programs that offer help to residents facing housing insecurity, health issues, or financial hardship.

Government Transparency:
Amy will advocate for clearer communication from City Council and more ways for residents to be informed and involved.
